Ticket Booking and Venue
FAQs

When are you open?

We are now closed for the winter season 2022/23.

Tickets will be available to book from Easter 2023 in advance online or in person at the venue.

Can I visit Looe Harbour Heritage Centre without a ticket?

No. From 23 July 2020, all visitors must have a valid ticket to come in to the Heritage Centre.

We used to operate on a ‘donations’ basis, but this model provided insufficient contributions to keep the Heritage Centre open.

Can I reserve a ticket without paying?

No. We cannot accept unpaid reservations. We strongly recommend ticket booking advance online for Tours, Talks or Workshops. Ticket bookings in person on the door are also available at the venue, from the Coffee Shop till.

How much do tickets cost?

2022 Ticket prices were:
£2.50 per Adult
£1 per Child (5-16)
£8 for a Family Ticket (for up to 5)

Guided Tours: £5 per ticket
Family Tours: £15 per ticket

Family Activities craft workshops: £15 per table

How do I find Looe Harbour Heritage Centre and where do I park?

We are on the ground floor of the The Old Sardine Factory building on the Quay in West Looe. For detailed directions and details of car parks, public transport etc. go to the ‘How to Find Us’ section at the bottom of the ‘Visit’ page of our website.

How do Family Activity craft workshop bookings work?

Led by a member of our Heritage Centre team, we provide the guidance and materials you need for your family to enjoy the activity. There is a limit of 5 groups for each workshop - up to 5 people in a family group. Each group will be based at a workshop table. Please ensure your children stay within the family group and do not go ‘free range’ around the Centre.

Is there a protocol when visiting the Heritage Centre?

Clean (not wet) dogs are welcome on a lead.

Children must be accompanied and may not be left unattended in the Heritage Centre.

We ask that no food or drink is brought in and consumed in the Heritage Centre, for the safety of the exhibits.
On occasion at specific events, the staff team will serve pre-paid refreshments in the Centre.

We like to maintain a relaxed, friendly atmosphere in the venue, and the management reserves the right that the Duty Manager refuses admission or ejects visitors if they are using disruptive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour.

Is my baby or Toddler included in the maximum number of people for our booking?

Babes in arms are not included in the total.

For Family Guided Tours or Family Activity craft workshops, Toddlers should be included in the total.

For Family craft workshops, the age guidance is for children given in the description for each workshop.

Do you offer a concession ticket price?

No. Our 2022 admission Tickets are fixed by Looe Harbour Commission at a level which we believe is fair to all. We are Registered Charity no. 291498.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges on tickets?

All Tickets are non-refundable if you cancel or do not show up for your booking. In the event of cancellation by the Heritage Centre, a refund to the full value of the tickets will be offered.

We are only able to offer a limited facility for exchanging tickets during the 2022 season.
